The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills is turning up the flavor and sophistication this summer with the return of its celebrated seasonal dining series, Legend and LVE at The London WeHo Rooftop. Now in its second year, the luxury hotel partners once again with LVE Wines by John Legend to deliver a rooftop culinary experience that blends gourmet cuisine, world-class wines, and panoramic Los Angeles views.
The highlight of the season is the John Legend Selections three-course prix-fixe menu created by Executive Chef Anthony Keene, inspired by “John’s Favorite Things” from wife Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings cookbook. Starters include Seared Scallops with charred sweet summer corn salad, French Onion Soup Gratinee, and a Shrimp Summer Roll, perfectly paired with LVE Chardonnay Carneros and LVE Grenache. Entrées feature Sweet Chili and Mustard-Glazed Salmon, Brick Spring Chicken, and a showstopping Beef Wellington for two, paired with LVE Cabernet Sauvignon. Dessert is a Berry Pavlova served with LVE French Sparkling Rosé. The prix-fixe is priced at $85, or $120 with wine pairings.
For those seeking more variety, the new a la carte menu features an impressive range of seasonal dishes. Shareable starters include Ceviche & Caviar, Truffle French Fries & Caviar, Tuna Tacos, and Smoked Trout Dip and Chips. Standout entrées include Duck Confit and Mushroom Risotto, Grilled Pacific Swordfish, and a Lamb Rack for two. Dessert lovers can indulge in creations from Pastry Chef Nidia De Los Santos, such as English Toffee Pudding, Blueberry Basque Cheesecake with blueberry ice cream, and the decadent Dubai Sundae for two, prepared tableside with pistachio ice cream, katafi, chocolate, strawberries, and optional pistachio liqueur.
