Entrepreneur Sam Jordan launched Red Bear Winery, in partnership with his father, Wayne Jordan. Inspired by the Jordans’ appreciation for the wines they’ve learned about and tasted during time spent traveling throughout Europe, Red Bear Winery launched with a Limited Edition 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. The new black-owned boutique label is crafted in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County by local winemaker Drew Damskey.
Boasting years of experience sourcing their own high-quality, Sonoma County-grown grapes to other wineries from their family’s Sonoma County vineyard, Red Bear Winery’s full-bodied expressive wine has velvety and bold tasting notes with elegant acidity and peppery tannins. There are notes of chocolate covered cherries, black raspberries and red cassis to enjoy for every occasion. The 2018 Red Bear Cabernet Sauvignon is available online and retails for $65.55.
