Have you ever wanted to dine in an enchanted garden greenhouse? Now you can at Lady Byrd Café, a charming, neighborhood gem, nestled up in the hills of Echo Park, CA. The restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating adorned with individual greenhouse pods in a large lush garden setting.
They serve an environmentally friendly cuisine with fresh, organic ingredients, offering a variety of options for vegans, meat eaters and everyone in between. The menu offers a fresh take on an American cuisine, drawing particular inspiration from French, Italian and Mediterranean cuisines with a variety of sandwiches, breakfast items, burgers, salads, pastas, pastries and vegan dishes. Their farm-to-table organic dishes healthy salads and bowls include a Cobb, chopped, kale and vegan salad as well as a vegan sausage bowl with roasted cauliflower rice.
Sandwiches include a bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado on toasted sourdough, chicken club, chicken Panini, spicy pulled pork, smoked brisket pastrami, and Italiano sub. There’s also a beef and vegan burger on the menu, while pastas include a Bolognese, fettuccini alfredo, cheese tortellini and pesto pasta and spaghetti marinara.
