The biggest festival trend this year wasn’t flower crowns or fringe, it was Airbnb. From headliners to A-list attendees, some of the Hollywood elite who migrated to the desert opted for private homes during their weekend stay in Indio; basking in unique amenities like lavish pools, backyard tennis courts, outdoor fireplaces, and more. In order to deliver their epic performances, they needed to have the perfect homes to relax and refuel.
After loving her Houston Airbnb this past February, Lady Gaga continued to be music’s biggest trendsetter, along with one of the festival’s most talked about headliners, Kendrick Lamar. Their notoriety was centered around their ability to enjoy camping out in ultra-luxurious estates for the weekend, courtesy of Airbnb. Each Coachella headliner stayed in a resort-style compound in uber luxe Rancho Mirage as they prepped for their show-stopping festival performances.
Lady Gaga relaxed in an epic $12 million, 9,500 square foot estate that featured 360-degree mountain views, seven bedroom suites, five large bathrooms, and a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with an al fresco kitchen. The kitchen overlooked a spa, resort-inspired pool, and three fire pits. Kendrick Lamar, the headliner for Sunday, took a break to unwind in a luxurious $10 million Airbnb estate. With over 7,000 square feet of living space and six spacious bedrooms, the extravagant villa was the ultimate playground to the award winning artist and his guests. The modern palace features floor to ceiling glass windows that overlook breathtaking views. The extravagant estate also features a sunken tennis court and a large resort style saltwater pool.
