Celebrating the community of great food and cooking, the fourth annual All-Star Chef Classic featured some of the world’s best chefs during a series of Masters Dinner Series and Strolling Events in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Featuring over 55 Michelin-Starred Chefs, the four-day event offered fans the unique opportunity to gain exclusive access to todays leading chefs in an interactive setting.
Spotlighting critically acclaimed chefs, All-Star Chef Classic returned to L.A. LIVE’s custom-built Restaurant Stadium and Chefs’ Tasting Arena where the Masters Dinners and Strolling Events took place. This year, the festival included an expanded list of events with the introduction of the Italian Masters Dinner and Southern Eats, a brand-new strolling event showcasing 18 esteemed chefs and cuisine from down South that was featured alongside the popular Grill & Chill, French Masters Dinner, American Masters Dinner and East West Masters Dinner.
The “French Masters Dinner” featured five of the world’s most acclaimed French culinary experts, including award-winning chef and television personality Ludo Lefebvre and Iñaki Aizpitarte of the lauded Le Chateaubriand in Paris. The chefs collaborated to cook a multi-course seated dinner for guests, paired with select French wines. Chef Antonia Lofaso of Venice’s Scopa Italian Roots was joined by chefs from around the country who specialize in Italian cuisine, during the “Italian Masters Dinner” where chefs prepared a multi-course meal for guests with dishes inspired by their countries and cultures.
The “American Masters Dinner” celebrated the culinary talent from across the United States, featuring the East and West coast’s best flavors. The lineup included esteemed chefs including Curtis Stone of LA’s Maude and Gwen and Michael Schwartz of Fi’lia Miami, who crafted a five-course dinner to exhibit America’s progressive cuisine. Equally as delicious, the “East West Masters Dinner” presented some of the world’s greatest leaders and authorities in Asian cuisine. From the refined Southeast Asian offerings of Sang Yoon to Jet Tila’s renowned Thai creations, the “East West Masters Dinner” explored the importance of Asian influence in international cuisine.
