We the Women, a Women’s Art Collective founded by Nathalie Love and Samantha Ressler, presented a powerful evening celebrating Planned Parenthood with the Los Angeles debut production of Women of Manhattan on Saturday. Amber Heard, Demi Moore, Jonah Hill, Dustin Hoffman and more gathered with over 500 guests at the famous Palace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to support the cause. The female-centric production supported Planned Parenthood by providing 100% of proceeds to the organization.
Dustin Hoffman arrived with his wife Lisa, while Amber Heard brought a group of her friends for a girls night out. Demi Moore kept it more low key arriving with a friend to support her daughter, Scout Willis who performed later that evening, while Jonah Hill showed up at the very last minute making a grand entrance with his entourage of friends to support the cause.
Following the play, an exclusive screening of two original short films were presented – LA Woman Rising narrated by James Franco and directed by Nana Ghana and The World Is Dreaming Through Us. Guests then made their way to the reception with cocktails, dancing, and a shoppable art exhibit curated by Laura Watters featuring donated artwork by renowned female artists including Pamela Hanson, Gia Coppola, Anna Ullman, Charlyne Yi, Yasmine Diaz, and more.
