New indulgences include the Blanc and Noir Fruitcake Bars; visual Red & Green Box; Evergreen Box with mint-infused truffles; and Peppermint Bark Cookies. Classic holiday favorites return, including Holiday Nougat; Christmas Jam; Fruitcake Blanc and Noir; and the ever-popular Peppermint Bark.
Founded in 2004 in Los Angeles by chocolatier and chef Valerie Gordon and partner Stan Weightman, Jr., Valerie Confections is recognized as one of the top artisan chocolatiers in the country. Entirely self-trained, Valerie started her namesake company with six flavors of chocolate-dipped toffee, quickly gaining an ardent fan-base for her modern interpretation of classic chocolates and confections, elegant gift packaging, and commitment to using the very best, all-natural ingredients. Since those early days, the South Silver Lake shop expanded exponentially, and now includes a popular line of petits fours, handmade preserves, cakes, wedding cakes, pastries, and a catering division.
