Snoop Dogg closed out the 2016 Democratic National Convention by headlining the “Unity Concert” following Hillary Clinton’s closing speech on July 28. The private affair took place at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, where celebs including host Mary-Louise Parker, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Diana Agron, tore up the dance floor and sang along to the West Coast Rapper’s greatest hits along with new tracks from his latest album, Coolaid.
Snoop wasn’t just about partying during the DNC; it’s no secret he is a major supporter of the movement to legalize marijuana. His cannabis media platform Merry Jane had a major presence at events throughout the convention.
The performance was a quick stop for Snoop who is currently on his nationwide 33-city “Merry Jane Presents The High Road Summer Tour” with Wiz Khalifa where 18 select stops are approved for medicinal and/or recreational marijuana use.
