STATE Bags, the charitable brand offering a collection of fashionable backpacks and bags, celebrated their newest back-to-school fall collection for Shopbop with a photo shoot featuring Jamie Chung, who hand-selected each of the looks for the campaign, bringing her classic and candid style to life.

For every bag purchased, STATE Bags donates a fully stocked bag to a child in need. Not only are the carryalls philanthropic, but STATE’s streamlined designs come in a wide range of graphic prints and modern colors, ensuring there’s a style for every grown-up and mini-me alike.

Through their volunteer work, husband-and-wife team Scot and Jacqueline Tatelman witnessed lots of American children carrying their school supplies in plastic bags. That prompted the pair to found STATE, the line of clean, colorful backpacks, totes, lunch bags, and pencil cases that make a difference.
