Trying to find parking in Los Angeles is sometimes like finding a needle in a haystack. Not only is it scarce, but it also leaves your wallet feeling the same. All in search of the golden meter, you may resort to paying $30- $40 to park your car. CEO and founder, Emily Webb encountered these problems when she first moved to Los Angeles, which led her to create MyLücke, a game changer in parking access that affects more than half a million commuters in Los Angeles.
MyLücke is an on-demand private parking app that allows users to park on a resident’s driveway or private business, that is often under-utilized by the resident or business owner…just like Airbnb but for parking! Unlike other apps who partner up with commercial parking lots, MyLücke’s goal is to offer vacant and available parking spaces, while allowing the renter to generate additional income from their parking spots. The MyLücke user is able to set the amount of time they want to park, while the MyLücke renter receives 100% of the rate set!
MyLücke recently launched in Los Angeles and plans to expand to other cities where parking is inherent. The app is available for free download in the App Store. By Gina Velasco
