Inspired by Iconic Global Humanitarians like Nelson Mandela’s lifelong fight and work for ‎peace, freedom and humanity, The Africa Channel’s newly launched Ubuntu Awards celebrates organizations and individuals who exemplify Ubuntu, or ‘Human Kindness. The Ubuntu Awards encompass three categories: Business & Innovation, Arts & Entertainment and Culture & Lifestyle.

Join The Africa Channel and honor a person or organization creating positive change in the world. Nominations are being accepted now through July 8 at The Africa Channel. Three nominees will be selected in each category by The Africa Channel along with a panel of experts and influencers in each field. The public will then cast votes to determine the winners. Finalists will be announced during TAC’s Ubuntu Week from July 18-24, with winners being announced on August 1, 2016.
