Walking with Anthony and The First Step Foundation hosted the Movement for Change Gala at Sofitel Los Angeles at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on June 11.  Celebs in attendance included Blake Cooper Griffin, Golden Brooks, Jill Marie Jones, LaVar Arrington and  Terrence J. The charitable evening benefitted those affected by spinal cord injury and featured a cocktail reception followed by dinner, live auction and program curated by Terrence J.

Founded by spinal cord injury victim Anthony Purcell and his mother, Micki Purcell, the Walking With Anthony mission is to change the recovery outcome of Spinal Cord Injury, currently perceived as unchangeable. The organization is dedicated to raising Spinal Cord Injury awareness, funds to provide financial assistance for victims, expand rehabilitation centers and supporting research relating to rehabilitation.
