Stand Up To Cancer’s ‘Standing Room Only’ Event was held April 9 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. The star-studded event was presented by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and chaired by Jim Toth, Reese Witherspoon, MasterCard President and CEO Ajay Banga. The event honored Stand Up To Cancer’s Co-Founder and Award-Winning Journalist Katie Couric for her dedication to cancer advocacy and awareness along and featured performances by Tony Bennett, Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott.  Other celebs in attendance included Alec Baldwin, Emmy Rossum and Ken Jeong.

Stand Up To Cancer raises funds to accelerate the pace of research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. Funds raised through the event will support collaborative cancer research, including a new Dream Team focused on colon cancer, which is still this country’s second-leading cancer killer of men and women combined.  For more information, visit on Stand Up To Cancer.
