Dress designer/model Christy Dawn Petersen has teamed up with musician, Z Berg to design a new dress and romper for her line of sustainably made dresses, just in time for Berg’s band PHASES performance at the Coachella Music Festival in April. In true festival style Berg wanted something unique to wear and designed the dress and romper with Petersen’s design expertise to help.

Every Christy Dawn piece is made by local artisans in Downtown Los Angeles, sewn with longevity in mind. The company uses deadstock fabric to minimize the environmental footprint, and instead of creating thousands of garments at a time, they sew a limited number of pieces. The Z Dress will be sold for $191 and made in 5 different color ways and there will be just under 50 pieces made. The Z Jumper will be sold for $197 and made in 3 different color ways and there will be roughly 30 pieces made. Both the dress and romper will be sold online and available now at the Christy Dawn store located in Venice, CA.
