Oakley in Residence hit Los Angeles this week with a creative gallery-style space and pop-up skate park to celebrate the obsession with skate culture. Now through May 10, photographers, artists, filmmakers, skaters and social influencers integrated with the world of skate will take up “residence” at the Oakley in Residence studio, contributing content with a focus on skate culture. Free and open to the public, the venue offers a weekly schedule of workshops, exhibitions, athlete meet-ups, skate sessions and film screenings.

GIRL skateboard art collective, The Art Dump, will curate a cohesive series of art works in the Skate Parking Lot responding to the theme the ‘place’ of obsession.
Located at 7763 Melrose St., Los Angeles, the space will be open daily from 11am – 8pm from April 24 – May 10. It is the first of three “Oakley in Residence” brand hubs designed to fuel passion rooted in sport as part of the company’s global One Obsession campaign.
