British luxury brand Burberry celebrated its London hometown in Los Angeles with an event at the iconic landmark Griffith Observatory on April 16th. The event was attended by over 700 guests from around the world including Cara Delevingne, David & Victoria Beckham, Mila Kunis, Elton John, Jason Statham, Anna Wintour, Ellie Goulding and many more!
A custom-built show space was created for the brand’s runway show featuring the Burberry family of models including Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, Sam Rollinson and George Le Page, showcasing the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2015 womens and mens collections. The Autumn/Winter 2015 Womenswear “Patchwork, Pattern & Prints” Collection featured paisley and floral bohemian prints inspired by Durham quilts, patchwork prints and animal and camouflage printed lace; while the Menswear “Classically Bohemian” Collection featured bohemian layering mixed with tailoring, featuring authentic fabrics, camouflage, paisley and floral patterns.
The show closed with a collection of exclusive eveningwear, featuring floor-length tulle dresses with cut-out waistcoats and silk thread embroidery for women and slim-fit velvet tuxedos with grosgrain details for men. The eveningwear collection for men and women inspired by British weather and Californian icons is available in limited edition exclusively from the Burberry Beverly Hills flagship on Rodeo Drive by appointment.
