The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards brought excitement and a few surprises to television’s biggest night at Microsoft Theater. “Game of Thrones” won Outstanding Drama Series, while HBOs “Veep” took home the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series for a second year in a row. FX Networks’ “The People v. O.J. Simpson” racked up big wins in the limited series or movie categories, with cast members Courtney B. Vance, Sterling K. Brown and Sarah Paulson taking home statuettes. The week leading up to the Emmys was packed with mega parties, gifting suites and events filled with winners, nominees and major stars. Audi Pre-Emmy Event
Audi, the automotive partner and vehicle provider of the 68th Emmy Awards, hosted its 7thannual pre-Emmy event at the brand new Catch restaurant. The 2017 Audi R8 and the 2017 Audi Q7 chauffeured VIPs including Cat Deeley, Sarah Hyland and Melora Hardin to the big night. Celebs in attendance included Rami Malek, Constance Zimmer, Elizabeth Banks, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sofia Richie.
Vanity Fair & FX Networks Party
Vanity Fair and FX Networks hosted a private cocktail party to celebrate FX’s record 56 Emmy nominations. Shows being recognized included “The Americans”, “The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story”, “American Horror Story: Hotel”, “Baskets”, and “Fargo”. The invitation-only event was held at CRAFT. Celebs in attendance included FX networks show talent John Travolta, Sarah Paulsen, Cuba Gooding Jr., Malcolm Jamal-Warner, Courtney B. Vance, Kathy Bates and Donald Glover.
Vanity Fair, Youtube & Shiseido Kick-Off Party
Vanity Fair, YouTube and Shiseido hosted a private cocktail party to celebrate the kick-off of Emmy weekend and the Vanity Fair Social Club. Guests were invited to a preview of the V.F.S.C space at PLATFORM, where they enjoyed exclusive cocktail created by Santa Margherita Wines, experience YouTube’s 360-degree photo booth and take home a Shieseido gift bag featuring Ultimune.
Women Making History Brunch
The National Women’s History Museum (NWHM) and its Los Angeles Regional Council hosted an exclusive brunch at The Montage Beverly Hills to commemorate the achievements of women and generate awareness of the Museum and the importance of preserving women’s history. The 5th Annual Women Making History Brunch, presented by Glamour and Lifeway Foods, honored Tracee Ellis Ross, Rachel Zoe, Abigail Breslin, and Toni Ko. Honoree awards were presented by Yara Shahidi and Molly Sims. Additional celebs included Angel Parker, Garcelle Beauvais, Kate Walsh, Kathy Griffin, NeNe Leakes, Olivia Holt and Peyton List.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA) celebrated Emmy weekend with their annual BBC America BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party. The event celebrated excellence in television by honoring this year’s nominees.
